Additional Behind-the-Wheel Driving Hours

Need more time behind the wheel? We offer additional driving lessons for students who have already completed the required classroom instruction and initial behind-the-wheel training.

To qualify, you must have completed one of the following:

• 30 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel training, or
• 14 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel training: or
• A state approved driver's education course.

Required Documents

After purchasing additional driving hours, please go into your student portal to upload the following:

• A valid TIP Card, and your Certificate of Completion from a state-approved driver's education or pre-licensing course, or
• Learner's Permit, or Driver's License

Who Is This For?

This option is designed for students who did not attend Metroplex Driving Academy but have already completed a state-approved driver's education or pre-licensing course and need additional behind-the-wheel practice.
